My passion for photography started as early as I could remember. My father, Gunnery Sargent Stewart, retired USMC, always had a 35 mm in his hands to capture our childhood and those important life events growing up. It must be in my blood to want to capture the same important moments of life. Time goes by too fast to have regrets of not freezing that moment and recording it for ourselves. I have the eye for it. I find beauty in everything and in every moment. Not everyone can say that. It could be something I was born with or something I picked up from traveling so much in my childhood as a Military Brat. I found the beauty in every place we visited and recorded it with my little 35mm camera. Then afterwards, I couldn't wait to run to Walmart and turn my film in for development. The agony of waiting all week for it to return just to see if I "got the shot" or if everyone had "red-eye" from the horrible flash. Those were the days! Now fast forward to 2020 with all the incredible technology we have with Digital Cameras and Laptops and Photoshop! Not only do I need to have the "eye for it" but I also need to learn how to retouch and edit your images to look like something in a magazine and completely flawless. I'm proud to say that my experience through the years has helped me achieve a high level of retouching and perfecting your images. I work everyday at improving myself as a photographer. I'm still learning and growing. I'm always looking for that perfect shot and I love what I do. My Nikon is always ready for some action!
